OOhhx – pronounced [ OHH-eks ]

Our OOhhx collection consists of recycled glass as well as sustainable ceramics. Our recycled glass is made in Europe from 100% recycled glass. The entire collection is handmade and a majority of the collection is mouth blown glass. The collection consists of 2 stunning groups each with their features. Valencia is an elegant collection of vases, tealight holders, bowls all in mouth blown glass. Barcelona is a collection of beautiful handmade vases in thick recycled glass. The heavier look gives you a beautiful rustic look.

The OOhhx ceramic collection is handmade. The products are made from 30% reused ceramics and are manufactured using solar energy and reused water. Ceramic is a natural product however very demanding on the use of electricity and with this OOhhx collection we are happy to offer the interior business a more sustainable alternative to the ceramics currently in the market. The production is ISO 14001:2015 certified.

OOhhx FW26 – Beautiful design with care

OOhhx FW26 introduces exciting additions to our existing collections, beautiful new colours, and inspiring new designs. Discover soft organic shapes, glossy finishes, and timeless colours inspired by slow living and understated aesthetics.

Lübech Living is delighted to introduce Lily 19. Lily 19 is a beautiful fusion of a decorative bowl and a candle holder. The bowl is food-safe, making it perfect for serving snacks and sweets or for creating beautiful floral arrangements, Christmas decorations, and much more.

The popular Blossom design welcomes a new colour for FW26 – Taupe, a warm and timeless earthy shade. The Andrea collection has also been expanded with two beautiful new colours, both featuring our elegant glossy finish.

The Wave collection introduces new styling possibilities and display combinations, while the OOhhx Christmas collection welcomes elegant standing Christmas trees and beautiful hanging ornaments. FW26 promises to be a wonderful season filled with beautiful new designs and exciting possibilities across both new and existing collections.

Why recycled glass?

Simple… because recycled glass has a far smaller climate impact than new glass. According to Dansk Retursystem, glass is made from soda and a special type of sand, which are more environmentally and climate-intensive to extract than melting down used glass bottles into new ones. Furthermore, according to the Danish Environmental Protection Agency, it requires less than half as much energy to melt recycled glass as it does to produce new glass. Glass can be recycled again and again, making it a strong and sustainable choice for producing glass vases and other interior items.

Furthermore glass recycling teaches us a new lifestyle: solidarity among people through a common interest, among industrial realities (circular economy) and solidarity towards the environment. Glass can be recycled endlessly with no loss in quality or purity. A perfect example of how we can make better choices regarding sustainability.

Handmade

All OOhhx products are handmade. We appreciate and care for traditional handicraft. And as part of the Lübech Living social responsibility policy we emphasize supporting local artisans in less privileged areas.

Sustainable production

Sustainable production is important to Lübech Living. We work exclusively with handmade products, which reduce energy consumption and utilize solar energy. In ceramic production, we also recycle water. Our goal is always to minimize waste and reuse our own residual materials for new products.

Recycled Materials

For the OOhhx collection we work with several recycled materials as glass, recycled paper, excess textile materials and our own Zero waste materials.

Recycling and solar energy make a difference

OOhhx ceramic are handmade from 30% recycled material and with the use of solar energy and water recycling. The production is ISO:14001:2015 certified. Lübech Living carefully select our suppliers and must all meet the strong conscious values in the Lübech Living DNA.

Lübech Living takes pride in designing timeless designs with beautiful lines and details. The colors are all well balanced and fit perfectly with the the other designs from Lübech Living.

Conscious production makes a difference

Our OOhhx series of mouth-blown glass is made from 100% recycled glass and produced using solar energy. Our manufacturer covers 100% of the energy needs for their warehouse with solar power, while 90% of the production is powered by their own solar energy. The use of solar energy has resulted in a reduction of 68,000 kg of CO2 emissions compared to previous methods.
